Spirals

Without giving too much away, the spiral is an extremely important part of Reiki. It is the dominant feature in one of the symbols in Reiki II that focuses and empowers the flow of energy.
Ever since learning this, I have noticed spaces and things that feature spirals. I always got the sense that people who decorated with spirals, or used them in designs, were somehow taught in a Reiki tradition or naturally attuned themselves to the power of the spiral.
Have you, too, noticed spirals in more places lately?
I've seen them in contemporary designs more frequently -- I used to notice them on goods sold at places with a contemplative modern feel, like Pier 1 or Bombay Company. Now they're creeping into products at Wal-Mart and even furniture designs.
I really believe the signs are all around us, regarding what's happening with the Universe, as it relates to our own lives. It's quite possible that my own recent reawakening of Reiki in my own life makes me notice the symbol more than I did before. Perhaps this is somehow symbolic of my own re-empowerment.
But perhaps, also, there is an awakening of the sense of power and energy that is occurring universally, as my friend and mentor Nancy has noted in previous comments. -- In peace, Wolf
